1.Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Admitra collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you access or use the Admitra website, web app, and related services. Admitra is an AI-powered operating system for college admissions — it helps students plan their school list, coach and analyze essays, sequence deadlines, track applications, and compute an explainable readiness score. This policy applies to all users of Admitra, including students, parents, teachers, counselors, and visitors. By using Admitra, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2.Important independence notice
Admitra is an independent educational product. Admitra is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or officially connected to any university, college, admissions office, the Common Application, the College Board, ACT, UCAS, or any testing or examination board. Any references to schools, tests (such as the SAT or ACT), application platforms, or similar terms are used only to describe the educational context Admitra supports. Admitra does not make admissions decisions and does not guarantee admission to any school. AI-generated scores, feedback, and suggestions are formative estimates for planning and learning purposes only.
3.Age requirement and minors
Admitra is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 13 are not allowed to create an account, submit essays, upload content, or use Admitra. If you are under 18, you may use Admitra only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If Admitra becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a user under 13, it may delete the account and associated data as soon as reasonably possible. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has used Admitra should contact us at the address below.

6.AI processing
Admitra uses artificial-intelligence systems to process educational content and generate feedback. When you submit an essay, question, profile, document, or related content, that content may be sent to AI service providers for processing — for example to estimate a readiness score, analyze an essay's structure and voice, score school fit, produce feedback, or suggest next steps. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent, and Admitra does not guarantee it will match any admissions officer, school, counselor, or outcome. Admitra does not intentionally permit third-party AI providers to use identifiable student submissions to train public AI models where provider settings or contractual controls allow this to be restricted.
7.Legal bases for processing
Depending on your location and applicable law, Admitra may process personal data based on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, a legitimate interest in operating and securing Admitra, compliance with legal obligations, or the protection of users and others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
8.Data sharing and service providers
Admitra may share personal data with trusted service providers only when necessary to operate, secure, improve, or support the service. These may include hosting and database providers, authentication providers, AI model providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email service providers, customer-support tools, and security services. Providers are expected to process personal data only for the purposes required to provide their services to Admitra. Admitra may also disclose personal data if required by law, court order, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Admitra, its users, or others.
9.No sale of personal data
Admitra does not sell personal data. Admitra does not sell your essays, uploaded documents, account information, or learning history to advertisers or data brokers.
10.Advertising and marketing
Admitra may send service-related emails about your account, billing, security, or policy updates. Admitra may send product updates or educational messages where you have consented or applicable law allows. You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing at any time; essential service, security, legal, and billing messages may still be sent. Admitra does not knowingly target personalized advertising to users under 18.
11.Cookies and local storage
Admitra may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, protect your account, measure usage, detect errors, improve performance, and prevent fraud and abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may prevent some parts of Admitra from working correctly.
12.Data retention
Admitra keeps personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy. Account data is kept while your account is active; your saved essays, documents, and plans are kept while you keep them in your account; payment records may be kept as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance; security and error logs are kept for a limited period; and deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten. You may request deletion of your account and data at the address below.
13.Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and complain to a relevant data protection authority. Requests can be sent to the address below; Admitra may need to verify your identity first.
14.Account deletion
You may request account deletion by contacting us. After a valid request, Admitra will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your account data and saved content unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons. Deletion may not immediately remove data from encrypted backups or provider systems, but such data is removed or overwritten according to normal retention cycles where technically feasible.
15.Data security
Admitra uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, authentication controls, access restrictions, database security rules, monitoring for errors and abuse, and limited internal access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for notifying Admitra if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
16.International data transfers
Admitra may use service providers located in countries outside your country of residence, so personal data may be processed in other jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, Admitra will use reasonable safeguards for international data transfers.
17.Third-party links and resources
Admitra may link to third-party websites, articles, or study resources. Admitra is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party websites. Please review their privacy policies before using them.
18.Your responsibility when submitting content
You must not submit content that includes unnecessary personal data about yourself or others, another person's private information without permission, illegal content, confidential materials you are not allowed to share, copyrighted material used in a way that violates applicable law, or content intended to abuse, hack, manipulate, or disrupt Admitra. You are responsible for the content you submit.
19.Changes to this Privacy Policy
Admitra may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, or website notice. Continued use of Admitra after the effective date of an updated policy means you accept the update.
